Green Lacewings are a natural enemy of many pests. The eggs hatch into tiny larvae, known as "Aphid Lions" because of their voracious appetites (devouring as many as 1000 aphids per day). They remain larvae for up to 21 days, crawling around and eating spider mites, thrips, whitefly larvae, moth eggs, and other soft bodied pest.
