They are impermeable to oxygen, which improves the quality and fermentation of your beer and wine! Able to withstand 15 psi of pressure, they are safer than glass and highly durable. The punt base allows for ease of carrying and pouring with minimal sediment movement, while the extra head space facilitates thermal expansion during fermentation. With no ribs on the sides to collect yeast, cleaning and sanitizing is much easier. Carboy sizes align with volumes of most wine kits, making these the ideal choice for secondary fermentation of your wine.
